Part of what makes Edmundston a great stop when coming from Quebec or Maine is how easy it is to find a place to stay. Some of the best-rated hotels in this area include:

Hotels Near Mount Carleton Provincial Park
If you’re not camping at the Mount Carleton Provincial Park, there are a few hotel options in Saint-Quentin, which is the closest town to Mount Carleton Provincial Park (about a 30–40 minute drive).
Here are some options worth checking out:
- Bed & Breakfast Du Repos: A cozy B&B with great reviews (9.8/10), known for its quiet setting and generous breakfast. Pet-friendly, with free Wi-Fi and parking.
- Appalatian Lodge: Luxurious cabin situated on a beautiful property located 13- minute drive from Saint Quentin.

Where to Stay Near Hopewell Rocks & Fundy Trail Parkway
If you’re visiting Hopewell Rocks and the Fundy Trail Parkway, I recommend two main options for your stay.
You can base yourself in Moncton, which is about 45 minutes from Hopewell Rocks, or in Saint John (Check the options listed above), if you’re coming from the southwest of the province. Both are easy to access and work well as a base to explore the area.
