We were lucky to spend five weeks road tripping across New Brunswick in our RV, exploring small towns, coastal villages, and vibrant cities along the way. Where to Stay in Northern New Brunswick

Where to Stay in Edmundston

Part of what makes Edmundston a great stop when coming from Quebec or Maine is how easy it is to find a place to stay. Some of the best-rated hotels in this area include:

These are comfortable and well-rated options, located close to the main attractions.

Hotels Near Mount Carleton Provincial Park

If you’re not camping at the Mount Carleton Provincial Park, there are a few hotel options in Saint-Quentin, which is the closest town to Mount Carleton Provincial Park (about a 30–40 minute drive).

Here are some options worth checking out: 

• Bed & Breakfast Du Repos: A cozy B&B with great reviews (9.8/10), known for its quiet setting and generous breakfast. Pet-friendly, with free Wi-Fi and parking.
• Appalatian Lodge: Luxurious cabin situated on a beautiful property located 13- minute drive from Saint Quentin.
• Chalets Appalaches: Just a few minutes outside of town, these chalet-style cabins are a good choice if you prefer more space or a rustic setting. Ideal for couples or small groups. 

These are simple, well-rated places to rest after a day of hiking or exploring the park.

Where to Stay in Bathurst

If you’re not RVing, here are some well-rated options in Bathurst:

These hotels are all comfortable, well-rated, and located near the main attractions, making them great choices for your visit to Bathurst.

Where to Stay in the Acadian Peninsula

The Acadian Peninsula is one of our favourite areas in New Brunswick. Here are our recommendations for where to stay in the Acadian Peninsula, organized by town. Keep in mind these are smaller communities, so booking in advance is a must, especially in summer.

We had such a great time in Miramichi, exploring both sides of the town connected by the river. Here are some of the best-rated hotels in the area.

We highly recommend booking in advance, especially in summer when availability is limited.

Where to Stay in Fredericton

Where to Stay in Saint John

Saint John is a great base if you’re visiting nearby attractions like the Fundy Trail Parkway or simply exploring the city itself. If you’re flying in or looking for a comfortable place to stay, here are some popular hotel options:

Where to Stay Near Hopewell Rocks & Fundy Trail Parkway

If you’re visiting Hopewell Rocks and the Fundy Trail Parkway, I recommend two main options for your stay.

You can base yourself in Moncton, which is about 45 minutes from Hopewell Rocks, or in Saint John (Check the options listed above), if you’re coming from the southwest of the province. Both are easy to access and work well as a base to explore the area.
