How Going Vegan Changed My Life (And How It Can Change Yours Too !) -by:Aldo A
Our Vegan Journey: From Curiosity to Passion
Four years ago, I decided to try veganism. My partner, Julieta, had already started for health reasons, and I wanted to support her and see how it would go for me.
At first, it was just an experiment, but the results were incredible. As the main cook in our home, I found it easier to prepare plant-based meals for both of us, and soon, I realized that this lifestyle was about much more than just food.
Today, I’m proud to say that veganism has changed my life completely. It has improved my body, my mind, and my connection with the planet and animals. If you’re thinking about going vegan (or just curious), let me tell you why this choice is one of the best things you can do for yourself and the world.

The Benefits of Veganism
1. A Healthier Body
Many people worry about getting enough protein or nutrients on a vegan diet, but the truth is, plant-based foods are packed with everything your body needs. Since going vegan, I’ve felt more energized, my digestion has improved, and my overall health has never been better. Research shows that a vegan diet can lower the risk of heart disease, improve cholesterol levels, and even help with weight management.
2. A Clearer Mind
Food affects not just our bodies but also our minds. I noticed a huge improvement in my mental clarity, focus, and mood after going vegan. Eating clean, plant-based foods gives your body the nutrients it needs to function at its best. Plus, knowing that my lifestyle aligns with my values brings me peace and happiness every day.
3. Saving Animals
One of the most powerful parts of being vegan is knowing that no animal has to suffer for my meals. I grew up surrounded by animals, and I always loved them. But I never truly connected my love for animals with my food choices until I went vegan. Today, I feel proud that my lifestyle reflects compassion and respect for all living beings.
4. Helping the Planet
Did you know that animal agriculture is one of the biggest causes of deforestation, pollution, and climate change? By choosing plant-based foods, we can significantly reduce our environmental impact. Eating vegan helps save water, reduce carbon emissions, and protect forests and wildlife. It’s one of the simplest and most powerful ways to help the planet.
How to Start Your Vegan Journey
